Introduction

X2Go client is software for remote connection to linux servers via existing SSH connection (port 22/tcp) and using your current credentials or SSH key.

Client installation

Client can be downloaded from:

https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/download:start

Install client relevant for your favourite operating system.

Then create new session(s) as following example:

Server side installation

Please note following:

  • This needs to be done on each server that you need to access using X2Go client.
  • We recommend installing Mate desktop environment. Naturally you can install your favourite environment as you like.
  • We also suggest installing Firefox and Chromium browsers. Naturally you can skip them.

CentOS
